2.- REGISTRATION
2.1: All participants with a minimum age of 21 years old in the year the race is held may register.
2.2: All participants must provide the duly signed document of assumption of responsibility, as well as a medical fitness report certifying that they have the physical capacity for intensive and long-duration sports practice in mountain racing or Trail competition.
2.2.1: The medical report must be signed and authenticated by a registered physician, issued in 2026, and those issued prior to January 1, 2026 will not be valid. It is highly recommended that the medical certificate be obtained together with a stress test, to rule out any pathology that endangers the health of the participant.
The Organization reserves the right to verify the validity of the medical reports, and may take legal action in the case of falsified, amended or altered documents.
2.2.2: The document of assumption of responsibility and the medical report must be uploaded to the participant’s file created on the registration platform before September 1, 2026. If both documents are not received within the established period, the registration will be automatically canceled without the right to a refund of the registration fee. It is the responsibility of each participant to fulfill this requirement within the deadline, without the Organization being obliged to claim the documents not submitted in a timely manner.
2.3: The registration fee includes civil liability insurance valid for the duration of the race.
2.3.1: Accident Insurance:
Each participant may choose at the time of registration between providing proof of accident insurance or a Mountain/Trail Federation card that covers mountain/Trail race competitions in Spain or contracting the accident insurance offered when registering.
2.4: The formalization of the registration implies the knowledge and acceptance of these Race Regulations, as well as the transfer of image rights to the Organizer and the use of the data provided, as established by the Data Protection Law of the Spanish State.
2.5: Each participant will be given a PERSONAL AND NON-TRANSFERABLE bib/number, which must be worn visibly throughout the race and on the front, without folding or cutting it.
2.6: THE BIB WILL BE DELIVERED at the place, date and time designated by the Organization, TO THE HOLDER OF THE REGISTRATION DULY IDENTIFIED, presenting proof of registration, original ID, driver’s license or passport. Under no circumstances will authorizations to third parties for collection be accepted.
2.6.1: At the bib collection, each participant will be given an identification bracelet on the wrist, which can no longer be removed without breaking it, and which must be worn throughout the race. The bracelet, together with the bib, will allow access to all the services provided by the Organization. The absence of the bracelet without justified cause will result in the disqualification of the participant.
2.7: The bib will have a chip or electronic control element attached to it, and it is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that it is correctly read at the control points established along the route.
2.9: No bib changes are allowed.
2.10: Those runners who complete the GTP in individual mode will obtain a diploma and a finisher souvenir. If their final time is less than 24 hours, they may also pre-register for the draw to participate in the Western States Endurance 100 of 2027, their arrival time being recorded in the general and category classification, and may be eligible for trophies as established in section 3 of these Regulations.
